portrait 84 ar[t]runk

Puneesh Suri, pencil, 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"

Despite the odd angle, this has to be one of the more enjoyable portraits I’ve done recently- there’s that crazy, happy expression and the suggestion of movement, (I love movement), not to mention the awesome hat.  It’s all about the accessories, friends…

Since it was put so eloquently, here is the directly copied ‘about’ blurb from his blog:

Evolving with a random structure, ar[t]runk is a germ of art and inherits its nature of transcending doctrines.

In its simplest form, it’s a quest to discover art and its myriad faces. An odyssey into the wondrous experience of creativity and its numerous anatomies. The direction is a natural course of inspiration, learning and appreciation for everything that’s one notch above the ordinary.

Quite like any quest, ar[t]runk too has a destination | it is always one step ahead.

Simply put, Puneesh is a really cool creative guy. See the blog here: ar[t]runk

This is portrait number 84 out of 100.  I like it.

There will be a draw for the 100th portrait, which will be an acrylic painting, on Feb. 15th.  Check the link: https://artboy68project.wordpress.com/for-number-100-acrylic-painting-enter-here/ . Enter even if I’ve drawn you before!
